Connaître son instrument, même très tôt permet de l’aimer mieux encore.

Que ce soit avec les anches qui exigent beaucoup de savoir-faire, d’intuition et de délicatesse ou avec l’instrument lui-même, développer jeune un rapport étroit de complicité et d’habileté peut être un atout de taille dans l’évolution d’un ou d’une musicienne.

Plus rapidement ces connaissances sont acquises plus vite elles perdent de leur dimension d’interdit ou d’inaccessibilité. Tout en restant dans des mesures adéquates, le débutant pourra comprendre et localiser précisément le problème que pose son instrument. Sans être forcément à même de le corriger tout de suite, intégrer les règles basiques et le fonctionnement correct de la mécanique instrumentale est absolument à sa portée.

Cela peut même faire l’objet de jeux, de quiz, dans lesquels les legos peuvent jouer leur rôle ludique. Les deux maquettes pédagogiques réalisées par mes soins pour visualiser les mécanismes à l’œuvre en sont une preuve tangible, j’y ai passé des heures mais je me suis bien amusé!

L’élaboration de ces maquettes a nécessité que je trouve la pièce utile au but recherché, que je l’associe à une autre, qu’elles fonctionnent selon mes voeux… Inviter un enfant à la réalisation d’une maquette simple du même genre avec ses propres legos pourrait être très motivant et l’aider à saisir de l’intérieur les rouages à l’œuvre dans le fonctionnement de son instrument.

À chercher comment y parvenir, on entre dans l’intimité de la mécanique et de son intelligence. C’est magique!

Know your instrument to love it even more

Knowing your instrument, even at an early age, makes you love it even more.

Whether it’s with reeds, which require a great deal of skill, intuition and delicacy, or with the instrument itself, developing a close relationship of complicity and skill at an early age can be a major asset in a musician’s development.

The sooner this knowledge is acquired, the sooner it loses its forbidding or inaccessible dimension. The beginner will be able to understand and pinpoint the problem posed by his or her instrument. Without necessarily being able to correct it right away, integrating the basic rules and correct functioning of the instrumental mechanics is absolutely within reach.

This can even be the subject of games and quizzes, in which legos can play their part. The two educational models I made to visualize the mechanisms at work are tangible proof of this. I spent hours on them, but I had a lot of fun!

To build these models, I had to find the right part for the job, combine it with another, and get them to work the way I wanted them to… Inviting a child to build a simple model of the same kind with his or her own Legos could be very motivating, and help them to grasp from the inside the cogs at work in the functioning of their instrument.

By trying to figure out how to do it, you enter into the intimacy of mechanics and its intelligence. How magical!

Sein Instrument kennen, um es noch mehr zu lieben

Wer sein Instrument kennt, und sei es noch so früh, kann es noch mehr lieben.

Ob es sich nun um Rohrblätter handelt, die viel Geschick, Intuition und Feingefühl erfordern, oder um das Instrument selbst, in jungen Jahren ein enges Verhältnis von Komplizenschaft und Geschicklichkeit zu entwickeln, kann ein großer Trumpf in der Entwicklung einer Musikerin oder eines Musikers sein.

Je schneller diese Kenntnisse erworben werden, desto schneller verlieren sie ihre Dimension des Verbotenen oder Unzugänglichen. Der Anfänger wird in der Lage sein, das Problem, das sein Instrument verursacht, zu verstehen und genau zu lokalisieren, wenn er sich auf angemessene Maßnahmen beschränkt. Auch wenn er nicht unbedingt in der Lage ist, das Problem sofort zu beheben, ist das Erlernen der Grundregeln und der korrekten Funktionsweise der Instrumentenmechanik für ihn absolut erreichbar.

Dies kann sogar Gegenstand von Spielen oder Quizfragen sein, bei denen Legosteine ihre spielerische Rolle spielen können. Die beiden pädagogischen Modelle, die ich zur Veranschaulichung der Mechanismen gebaut habe, sind der beste Beweis dafür. Ich habe Stunden damit verbracht, aber es hat mir viel Spaß gemacht!

Wenn ich ein Kind dazu auffordere, ein einfaches Modell mit seinen eigenen Legosteinen zu bauen, könnte das sehr motivierend sein und ihm helfen, die Funktionsweise seines Instruments von innen heraus zu begreifen.

Die Suche nach dem richtigen Weg führt in das Innere der Mechanik und ihrer Intelligenz. Das ist magisch!

Conoscere il proprio strumento per poterlo amare ancora di più

Conoscere il proprio strumento, anche in tenera età, fa sì che lo si ami ancora di più.

Sia che si tratti delle ance, che richiedono una grande abilità, intuizione e delicatezza, sia che si tratti dello strumento stesso, lo sviluppo di una stretta relazione di complicità e di abilità fin dalla più tenera età può essere una risorsa importante per lo sviluppo di un musicista.

Quanto prima viene acquisita questa conoscenza, tanto prima perde la sua dimensione proibitiva o inaccessibile. Il principiante sarà in grado di capire e individuare il problema posto dal suo strumento, senza essere necessariamente in grado di intervenire. Senza necessariamente poterlo correggere subito, l’integrazione delle regole di base e del corretto funzionamento della meccanica dello strumento è assolutamente alla sua portata.

Questo può anche essere oggetto di giochi e quiz, in cui i lego possono fare la loro parte. I due modelli didattici che ho realizzato per visualizzare i meccanismi al lavoro ne sono una prova tangibile: ci ho passato ore, ma mi sono divertito molto!

Per costruire questi modelli, ho dovuto trovare il pezzo giusto per il lavoro, combinarlo con un altro e farli funzionare come volevo. Invitare un bambino a costruire un semplice modello dello stesso tipo con i propri Lego potrebbe essere molto motivante e aiutarlo a vedere dall’interno il funzionamento del suo strumento.

Lavorando su come si fa, si conoscono da vicino i meccanismi e la loro intelligenza. È magico!
